New Center Info Sheet

Is your center newly opened, opening within the next year or opening even sooner? We're here to help you hit the ground running!

The main things to focus on are brand awareness, lead generation, B2B networking, and involvement in the schools and community.

  • For brand awareness, keep in mind that most people aren’t going to be familiar with Mathnasium and our unique approach. Our goal at all centers is to have all of the local residents, not just consumers, familiar with what makes our brand distinctive from other locations. We are the math-only learning center and we teach math in a way that makes sense!

  • Lead generation should happen as soon as possible - no later than 3 months before your opening is a good guideline - but the sooner the better! You’ll want to go to some events, visit the schools and represent your brand around the community. Another critical piece of this is reaching out to prospective customers and boosting your online presence.

  • When it comes to B2B networking, it’s about developing your relationship with other businesses. Remember that you’re a new business in an established community so you’ll want to get your company name out there so that people and other businesses are aware of who you are, when you’re opening, and what you’re going to be providing. This is general networking. It’s important to build up relationships with other businesses so that you have an established reputation and also have camaraderie built up in case you want to run any cross-promotions or seek partnerships in the future.

  • It’s never too early to start putting time into getting involved in the schools and community! Having a good relationship with the schools is going to be monumental in helping to advance your business! It will allow you to reach all of the staff, students and parents at your target schools and provides you with many opportunities to teach math and connect with families. The same thing goes for getting involved in the community! Start now and build up your brand so that families are excited about your approaching grand opening and are ready to get involved right away! This will build you up a group of leads to use in early promotional emails.
